The Mechanical Engineering Department is having excellent teaching faculty with rich experience for delivering outstanding technocrats. The student is exposed to latest advances in the field of mechanical engineering with emphasis on software and management. The students of this department periodically interact with out standing luminaries in the mechanical engineering field through on campus interaction programs conducted by the department. Experimental and computational facilities are being continuously upgraded. Industry interaction has been increased and many students working in industry-sponsored projects.

Association of Mechanical Engineering Students (AMES)

The AMES represents the students wing of mechanical engineering department. The association familiarizes the students with the latest technologies, management and production practices which are used in the industry by arranging various technical talks and industry interaction programmes. Paper presentation programmes and seminar contests are being conducted by AMES to bring out the talents of the students.
