TECHNOLOGY BUSINESS INCUBATOR (TBI)    

A Technology Business Incubator (TBI) has been launched in the Institution on 21/11/2005. TBI helps students to convert an innovative idea into a technological product.  TBI will be implemented through Entrepreneurship Development Club (EDC) of the Institution.

                    TBI functions through Entrepreneurship Development Club (EDC), an institutional level committee and a state level committee. Institutional level committee consists of Principal (Chairman) Head of the Departments, Member from Techno Park and Placement cell coordinator (Convenor). State level committee consists of Director of Technical education (chairman), eminent personalities in the field of technical education and CEO/member from Techno Park. Above committees will evaluate the feasibility and potential of the student idea and provide necessary guidance and support in order to convert it into an industrial product.

Objectives of TBI/ EDC

. To inculcate entrepreneurial culture in students.

. To bring in successful entrepreneur and students on a common platform

. To motivate students to venture into the industrial activity

. To induct entrepreneurial spirit in the institution.

. To educate students on various dimensions of industry.

. To change the negative mind set prevailing in the state for taking up entrepreneurship as a career.
