Government Engineering College Alumni Association (GECKKA) serves the purpose of fostering the relationship among the past and present students of the institution, inculcating in them a feeling of responsibility towards building up and maintaining the traditions of the institution. The Association started with the vision of promoting interaction between Alumni and the students and a mission of using the talents and resources of Alumni and friends to support the institution in achieving distinction in outstanding placements, teaching, research and public service. An annual meet of GECKAA is being conducted every year. GECKAA actively participates in the programmes conducted at the college. The Alumni conducts seminars and talks for the present students.

With the group mail ID (geckkd_aa@yahoogroups.com), job opportunities are being informed to the freshers. A lot of students are getting benefits out of it. It also serves as a platform for the alumni to stay close to one another.
